La Orotova
6,3 km
Located close to Puerto de la Cruz on the north-east coast of Tenerife, La Orotova is an attractive tourist town with a volcanic landscape. Set in the foothills of Teide, its colonial buildings, which date back to the 16th century, are characterised by their typical Canarian design and wooden balconies, giving this town a unique charm. In Orotova, you can visit the historic houses responsible for the area’s status as a National Historic Site, such as Casa Méndez-Fonseca and Casa Lercaro
Teide Volcano
40km
The highest peak in the country at an altitude of 3,718 metres. A truly unique place, not just for its immense size – which means that you can find snow here, in a tropical climate – but for its unparalleled volcanic landscape. Located in the centre of Tenerife, the native Guanche people believed that the volcano was the centre of the world and that it was connected to the afterlife. Its natural characteristics have made this volcano the most emblematic place on the archipelago.
Icod de Los Vinos

Located on the north-east coast of Tenerife, this town is famous for being home to the Drago Milenario, a thousand-year-old dragon tree. Declared as a national monument in 1917, this is the largest living specimen of the Dracaena draco tree. This town is also home to Playa de San Marcos and the lava tubes of the Cueva del Viento.
